1. The Information We Collect And Store
|
Files
|
Cloak and Vault Enterprise Security-as-a-Service implements optional or user configured Privacy-by-Design features.
With Privacy-by-Design, Clault and its
service providers are unable to read the encrypted files you stored in our services. For ease of use, your keys are created and may be recovered at our servers. If configured by user or enabled under an upgraded service plan, Clault does not store your master key and is unable to decrypt your files during lawful third party requests, such as a subpeona or court order.
Users are responsible for the safeguard of their master key, which is used in user key and data recovery.
| |
We collect and store the files you upload, download,
or access with our Service (“Files”). If you add a file to
your service that has been previously uploaded by you or
another user, we may associate all or a portion of the
previousfile with your account rather than storing a
duplicate.
|
2. Information You Provide
|
Cloak Apps collects a minimal set of user information to
enable the services we provide to you. Examples of
Information collected include your name, phone number, email
address and home and business postal addresses.
We do not collect credit card information and handle
corporate billing in typical corporate processes.
When you invite others ot join Clault by using our
referral page, we send them a one-time email for the
referral. You may also provide us with your contacts’ email
addresses when sharing folders and files with them.
|
|
When you register an account, we collect some
personal information, such as your name, phone number,
credit card or other billing information, email address and
home and business postal addresses. You may also ask us to
import your contacts by giving us access to your third party
services (for example, your email account) or to use your
social networking information if you give us access to your
account on social network connection services. When you
invite others to join the service by using our referral
page, we send them a one-time email for that referral. You
may also provide us with your contacts’ email addresses when
sharing folders or files with them. We may also receive
Personal Information (for example, your email address)
through other users, for example if they have tried to share
something with you or tried to refer us to you.
